What ages is QuestLearn for?

QuestLearn is designed for roughly ages 6-10, grades 1-5. You set the grade level, and quests stay inside the boundary you choose.

What subjects are included?

Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and Reading (vocabulary, reading comprehension, context clues). The platform is built so more subjects can be added later.

Does my child need their own account?

Accepted Answer

No. The parent owns the account and launches the child experience from inside it. We never ask for a child email address.

How is the story personalized without inventing facts?

Accepted Answer

The story engine receives only the nickname, age, grade, theme, skill, the current story context, and a pre-validated question with its approved answers. It can rewrite the wording into the adventure and write short transitions. It cannot change a correct answer, alter difficulty, or assign mastery.

What if the story engine fails?

The quest continues with safe prebuilt adventure text and the same validated questions. The failure is logged internally so we can look at it.

Can my child chat with the app?

No. There is no open-ended chat. The child experience is structured story beats and tappable answer choices.

Are there leaderboards or messaging between kids?

No. No public profiles, no child-to-child messaging, no public leaderboards, and no advertising to children.

What data do you store about my child?

Accepted Answer

A nickname, age, grade, chosen interests, learning preferences and progress data. Nothing else. You can view, edit, export or delete it at any time.

Is QuestLearn COPPA compliant?

We built QuestLearn around data minimization and parent control, but we do not claim legal certification under any children's privacy framework. Independent privacy and legal review is required before launch.

How does the free quest work?

Every new parent account gets one free personalized quest with no credit card. After it finishes, you see your child's results and can choose a plan if you want more.

Can I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscriptions can be upgraded, downgraded or canceled from the billing portal in your parent account.

Do you review the practice questions?

Accepted Answer

The question bank is internal and validated, with an explicit review status on every item. Seed questions in this build are marked as demo content requiring educator review.
