Terms of Service

Draft for review — not yet legal advice.

These terms are a working draft. They must be reviewed by qualified counsel before QuestLearn accepts paying customers.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any learner profile you create. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Learner profiles

Learner profiles are created and controlled by you. You agree to use a nickname or first-name alias rather than a full legal name, and not to enter sensitive personal information about a child anywhere in the product.

3. Educational content

QuestLearn provides practice activities for entertainment and skill practice. It is not a diagnostic tool, not a substitute for schooling, and does not provide clinical or educational assessment. Skill labels such as strong, developing and needs practice are simple summaries of recent practice, not diagnoses. We make no guarantee of any specific learning outcome.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Free accounts include one personalized quest. Paid plans renew automatically for the interval you select until canceled. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor and card numbers are never stored by QuestLearn.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access another family’s account or data
  • Do not attempt to bypass usage limits or create accounts to abuse the free quest
  • Do not scrape, resell or redistribute question content or generated adventures
  • Do not use the service to attempt to elicit unsafe content for a child

6. Content reports

If you see adventure content you consider inappropriate, use the report control in your parent account. We review reports and may remove content or disable generation features while investigating.

7. Service availability

Features that depend on third-party services, including story generation, payments and email, may be temporarily unavailable. We aim to preserve completed progress during interruptions and to let interrupted adventures resume.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for children using the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to the email address on your account before they take effect.
